I'm trying to create a web page from which a customer can download an ebook
in .pdf format from my web site. I'm using frontpage 2003. Does some one know
what sort of script I need. Where can I find info on this subject?

I have not even been able to enter the .PDF file into frontpage.

You import or copy and paste the file into your web using FrontPage.
Then create a link to it just like any other file.

If you want the viewer to download and save the file, place a prompt by the
link to Right click the link and select "Save as"

1. You open your web / site via File Menu | Open Web / Site in FP, then you use File Menu | Import
to bring a copy of the PDF file into your web, then you link to it just like you would a .htm page.
However, most users have the Adobe Reader so when they click on the link to the PDF it will open,
and then if they want to save a copy, they have that option.
