How can I get Publisher to print text on buisiness cards?

How can I get Publisher to print text on buisiness cards?
In Publisher i can see the text that is on my business card, it shows the
text in print prewview too, however when I print all that comes out is
pictures that are on the card.

Any help is greatly appreciated

Replace the black ink cartridge in your printer?

Does text print OK from other applications?

yes the ink cartiges are full, I can print fine in other applications, would
it possibly have anything to do with print settings, I have looked however I
cannot find anything that would suggest a cause for this problem.

It's doubtful to be a problem with print settings. Have you checked to see
whether your printer manufacturer has an updated driver available?s

The printer is an Epson 880, the drivers have been updated, still
does not want to print.

What font(s) are you using for your text?

What happens if you export a PDF file (e.g. using PrimoPDF from
www.primopdf.com) and view the result in Adobe Reader? What about when you
print the resulting PDF file?

All is ok now, I thought I would try and clean the printer heads and it
seems to work fine
