How can I see Resource utilization in Project?

I have a question that looks like TAT's question of 2/22/05 on calculating
work time v elapsed time, but the solution previously offered does not appear
to work in my application of MS Project 2003.

I have a series of meetings that will take .5h each work time, and are
lagged by 14 days between. The resource usage time shows the individual
times correctly as .5h, but the summary row for the meetings shows elapsed
time as work time. I have changed allocation from fixed units to fixed
allocation on each of the meetings, but the summary row still shows the total
elapsed time. Is there some way that I can either eliminate the summary rows
from the resource usage report, or change the way that the summary rows
calculate work time?

Thanks for any assistance you can offer.

Hello Jim,
Don't you confuse Duration and Work ?
Besides the Duration column, insert the Work column :
Insert / Column / Work

Hope this helps,
