Dear Sir,
In response to your letter in Arabic dated 02 June 2009, we take good note
of your intentions.
Please be advised that we are going to reject your claim totally as
unfounded and I am going to appoint our Lawyer in order to claim damages from
Quatra LLC.
As a matter of fact, TKP was forced by Quatra to pay much more than the tum
key contract agreed and counter signed by both parties through the continuous
blackmail that Quatra in the person ot Mr. frabio Malerna exercisea aunng me
execution Dy threatening to remove the personnel and jeopardize the advance
of the project unless TKP pay whatever they require.
Euthermore, during the works, Qua aied to pay tnt sajary to their own
workers resuiting in Quatra staff striking and bringing their grievances to
TKP and RasGas attention creating a

Even some staff of Quatra wrote or. ‘:;aUs aoosaUor.s r.voMng TKP and Prisma
in their problem with Quatra as witness can confirm.
In addition to all the above, we have suffered direct extra cost and damage
for the total lack of management by Quatra and we were forced to use our own
Project Manager to direct their workers resulting in additional cost.
Also, large part of the work done by Quatra staff naa to be
corrected/repaired/replaced by our own technicians who spent most of their
time training Quatra personnel with additional cost for TKF.
Finally, Quatra provided UnskiDad trers and char;ed TKP as they were skilled
plus they were totally without tools which has to be provided and paid by TKP
at additional cost.
Due to the above reasons, we give Quatra seven (7) days to return the sum
paid in excess in respect of your lump sum contract as well as the damages as
above for a total amount of QR 2,820,000 (Qatar Riyal Two Million Eight
Hundrea Twenty Thousand).
