How can show a project ouline in a group by view

In a project file I want to group tasks in sequence of ocurrence- date and
time. I also want to retain and disply the summary level tasks for the
sepcific and applicable tasks. I want to group tasks by date and time in an
project outline? How can I do this?

Hello Harry,
Have you tried : Project / Group by / More groups / New...
Field Name : Start
Check the Show summary tasks check box at the left bottom corner

To facilitate the reading, change the color of the Group by Summary bars:
Format / Bar Styles : *Group By Summary
