How can you restore a document to it's original form?

I was working in the wee hours of the morning updated a newsletter from last
weeks to this weeks. I accidently hit save instead of save as and my original
document is gone. Is there a way to get it back?

If you have a scanner, you could scan it in for the text. Better than
retyping, etc.

You could get lucky and find a temp file of an earlier save.
Input %temp% in the address bar in Windows Explorer. Look for a .tmp with pub as a
prefix, rename the .tmp to .pub.
