how do I activate office switching to new computer?

I purchased a NEW computer and I'm TRYING to activate my office xp in my NEW
computer, How can I do this, the notice says the office xp is assigned to
another computer and will NOT let me get the activation done. My case #is
SRX051 011603522. I tried calling, but did NOT get any results.

Did your Office software come pre-installed on your old computer?

If you Office is an OEM copy (came installed with your old PC) you
cannot move it to your new PC. If it is retail you can move it as long
as you uninstall it from your old PC. When it tries activating you
probably need to use the phone activation method and explain what is
going on.
