How do I convert a publisher document into a Word document?

I need to be able to adjust this document in Adobe. I know that you cannot
convert a publisher document straight to a pdf file, you need to first
convert it into Word.

I need to know the procedure to convert this Publisher document to Word.

No, you don't.

You are experiencing a very common problem among Adobe Acrobat users (the
product is called Adobe Acrobat (either Standard or Professional), NOT
"Adobe").

Adobe PDFMaker is the name of the add-in used in Word and PowerPoint (and in
Acrobat 7, Publisher), to interface with Acrobat and make the process of
making a PDF easier.

You do NOT, however, need to convert a file to Word format in order to
convert it to a PDF.
All you need to do is go to File > Print (in ANY application, and select
Adobe PDF or Acrobat Distiller.
In Publisher you will also need to enable sending fonts to Acrobat. Post
back if you need instructions on how to do this.

Thank you SOOOO much!

The instructions were in the last post.

In Publisher, open up your document.

Go to File > Print

Select Adobe PDF in the drop-down menu

Go to Properties

Go to Adobe PDF Settings

Uncheck "Do not send fonts to "Adobe PDF""

Click OK twice.

Select your output file name.

You are assuming the poster has Acrobat and not Reader (formerly called
Acrobat Reader).

In the OP using Acrobat with Word was mentioned - only the full version
installs the PDFMaker functionality into Word.

I saw that but I never assume anything when it comes to which program people
have. He may have it at work and not at home and thought that it was part of
Word. I'm a skeptic, I guess.

The poster can always use one of these: http://www.win2pdf.com and
http://www.primopdf.com They also install as a print driver/
