How do I copy and paste more than two pages in publisher

My daughter has written a book in publisher which is approx 125 pages long.
How can I select all the pages, so that I can copy all the text. then be
able to paste it into word?
It's so I can proof read it and correct mistakes.
Alternatively, when I introduce paragraphs into her text, I lose the bottom
text from the page, how can I stop this and make it go onto the following
page?
Thanks in advance
Jon

Now you know why long documents are best done in Word.

If your daughter had never linked the text boxes...

The reason why you are losing the paragraphs you are introducing is because
Publisher uses text boxes that have to be linked in order for text to flow to
the next page.

You can *save as* the entire file as a Word document or as plain text and
opening the result in Word.

Can I link the text boxes now, or is it too late?
If I can, how do i do that? I have not really used publisher before, but my
dauhter prefers to use it rather than word!
Thanks for your reply Mary, if I can't link then I will be happy enough to
do it in word!

Text boxes can only be linked if the new box is empty. The first text box will
retain all the text that is typed into it, just elongate it and the text will be
there.

On the toolbar there is a chain like icon, select the first text box, click the
icon, your cursor will turn into a pouring bucket, click the second text box.
