How do I create a continuous form/ sub-form?

The templates use a built in function to enable clicking on a link in a form
that looks like a datasheet to open another form....I want to create a form
like the templates use...but a more simple one.
In my previous post I was told to create a continuous form/sub form that
looks like a datasheet to open another form.
How do I do this? What is the step by step process? I am brand new with
Access.

The easiest way is to use the form wizard. Select the table or query that
you want to use as a recordsource, then invoke the form wizard, and select
either datasheet or continuous (tabular) form. Let is make your form and
tweak it in design view, if necessary. Now use the wizard to add your form
as a subform in the design view of the main form.
