How do I display and update a file (picture) from the internet in.

Dan

I'm trying to create a slide show that captures a specific image that is
periodically updated on the internet, so I want the slide show to update
itself.

I think this will work, but I'm not sure. Try going to the Insert menu and
choosing From File. Paste the URL of the picture (the picture itself, not
the Web page where the picture is). Click on the arrow next to the Insert
button and choose Link to File. I think if the picture changes on the Web,
it will change in the PowerPoint, but the picture won't show at all if you
are not connected to the Web.

One way you can do is using the LiveWeb add-in. Add the url of the image
using LiveWeb Add-in and see if that is what you want.

Shawn,

Thanks for the information on LiveWeb. I've downloaded this and attempted
to add a link to weather.com for a kiosk at my work. However, it has 2

Char: 7
Error: Invalid character
URL: http://www.weather.com/outlook/recreation/outdoors/local/98405
