how do I display the menu bar in word 2003 professional

somehow while using word 2003 I lost the menu bar with only the words
displayed i.e., File Edit, View, Insert, Format, Tools, Window, Help and
cannot get the application to display them anymore.

Do you have any toolbars on the screen? If so, try right-clicking on the
toolbar and choosing Customize. Click on the Toolbars tab and put a check in
the box next to Menu Bar.
