How do I fix trancated pictures from Excel to Word?

I am trying to paste a table from Excel into word. I have copied the Excel
table as a picture by holding down the shift key and then selecting Copy
Picture from the Edit menu. When I try to paste it as a link it does not
work. I have tried it on other machines and have not had a problem - it
appears to be isolated to my PC. It is important that the table gets pasted
as a link.
