How do I "get credit" for uninstalling Office so I can reinstall?

I need to move my MS Office XP suite to another desktop. When I uninstall, it
does not seem to "credit" my activation. How do I move it from one desktop to
another?

Assuming its not an OEM, licensed to a specific PC,
Uninstall, reinstall on new PC, if on line activation doesnt work, use phone
method, and explain
