How do I get word 2000 documents into word 2003 on a new computer

I want to tranfer my word documents from one computer with word 2000, onto
another computer with word 2003.

Hi Jeff,

Just copy the .doc files from one computer to the other. Use any convenient
medium -- floppy, CD-R, network, email... Just be sure to save them to the
new computer's hard drive before you try to open them -- don't open them
from removable media or by launching them directly from an email message.

Copy them by any transportable medium that will accommodate them and save
them on the new PC. Word 2003 is backwards compatible to Word 2000.
