How do I identify a task as being highlighted in calendar view?

I want to format the task bars in the calendar view with different colors.
But in order to do that I must group them according to a task category or
type i.e. Marked, Highlighted, External, Critical etc. I have used all the
relevant ones but want to mark some tasks as "Highlighted". Does anyone know
how to do that?

Hello Jasmine,

Tasks are highlighted through the use of highlight filters. Try Project
Filtered For > More Filters. In the More Filters dialog box, select a
filter and click the Highlight button instead of the apply button. You
could also make your own custom filter and use a custom field (flag
field for example) as part of the filter criteria.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Julie

Is it possible to use more than one colour for the highlighted tasks? I
have used two flags to create filters but it looks like I can only assign one
colour in the calendar.

Many thanks,

Jasmine

Hi Jasmine,

No sorry, the formatting available in the calendar view is *very*
limited as far as formatting choices -- only one color per bar category
(critical, highighted, etc.)

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
