How do I insert a picture and then type over it

I am creating a program for a dinner function. I would like to know 2 things...
1. How do I expand the size of the columns
2. After I insert a picture, how do I type over it instead of around it

1) It the column is a text box...place your pointer
on the edge of the column and when you see the
double arrow...left click /drag it to change the size.

If you right click a text box you can choose...
Format Text Box / Text Box tab / Columns button.

2) Each object is a layer...right click the Photo
and choose...Order / Send Backward.
