How do I insert a word document and keep it in page format

I want to insert a word document not as an outline for my
powerpoint presentation and without power point
automatically clipping it to the text area only. In other
words I want to insert a word documents with only a little
text and with a lot of text and have them look the same.
I am currently using 2000.

I don't understand. You don't want PPT to clip to the text area only,
yet you want a little text and a lot of text to look the same?

Do you just need to insert a Word document as a page? Use
Insert/Object/From File.

If that's not what you're after, please help us understand better what
you want.
