How do I keep a button selected

Is there a way to keep a button selected so that you can 'draw' multiple
arrows on a slide, without pushing the arrow button every time?

Drag the arrow menu (AutoShapes - on the drawing toolbar) with the tear off
line at the top to your screen. Double click on any of the buttons to make
them stick. Draw away. If you want to use ordinary lines with arrows, just
double click the arrow button on your drawing toolbar. Draw as many as you
like. Press escape to stop.
