How do I link a task to the 2nd half of a split task in Project 20

I have a task that can be 75% complete without any other dependencies, but in
order to start the final 25%, I need another task completed. I'd rather not
create a second task - if possible, I'd like to accomplish this with a split
task. How do I do this?

Best is to create a seciond task.
If there is a dependency I would have made it 2 tasks from the beginning.

First of all you can not directly link to the split in a split task. I
say directly because it can be done with VBA but not otherwise. However,
why not break the task you want to split into two pieces - it sounds
like that would be a more accurate way to break up the work anyway.
