How do I make labels in Word?

I am trying to learn how to use Word after using another program. Is there a
way to make address labels without using merge?

You were not very specific, one solution is to download the Avery
Wizard from Avery.com. This is what I use. It's a Windows add-in
(icon on the Word toolbar). I can print one label at a time or a page
full.

Hope this helps.................

The Wizard is fine, but I prefer Avery Design Pro, a free-standing prog.,
that's also available on their website at no charge. It has many more
features, for instance, you can design your own labels, etc. from scratch even
using your own artwork.

Open the word document; go to Tools; Letters & Mailings; Envelopes & Labels;
and fill in the correct areas with the address you are wanting to print and
your return address. You can print and envelope or many sizes of labels.
'Options' gives you the label sizes to chose from. Good luck.

I do the same, and I create all labels with the one person's name and
address. Then I re-type the others and save them for next years's
holiday labels.

This may not be feasible for you, but it works for me.

I have done Mail Merges also, but they are a tad more complicated.
