how do i match a text box to its background?

on a scanned picture i can't match the colour of the text box to be the same
as the colour of the picture so all i would like to see is the words without
the white box around it can anyone help me with this problem? please and
thankyou.

Format Text Box: on the Colors and Lines tab, choose No Line and No Fill.
