How do I open the files copied from xp-word 2002 t0 a xp woed 2003

Windows 2002 vs 2003

I am having a problem open a cd with critical files that came from a windows
xp-word 2003 to be able to now copy them to a HP machine that has XP but
windows 2003

Copy the files to your HDD, remove the Read-Only attribute and try again.

Windows 2002 vs 2003

Gordon, Iam going to try this , the files were created with windows 2002 on a
Gateway machine ,my typo in earlier message. I now have a HP with xp and
windows 2003. I will let you know if it works

Office 2003 (if that's what you are refering to) should have no difficulty
in opening files created in Office XP (if that's what you are refering
to....)

Windows 2002 vs 2003

Well, it seems to be determined not to open. I think I will send the CD
outside for opening.Thanks for your support .

have you tried copying the files FROM the CD TO your HDD, removing the
read-only attribute and then opening?
