How do I paste an image into Word without it disappering?

When I do Alt Print Screen in one software application and paste the image
into Word, the image disappears after I click off of it. I can view it if I
print it out because the image prints just fine, but when trying to view it
on the screen, either half or all of the image disappears, so I can't view it
when I'm in Word. How do get the image to stay put?

Try reducing the hardware acceleration setting in Start | Control
Panel | Display | Settings | Advanced | Troubleshooting. If this
fixes the problem, then you might want to check the website of
the manufacturer of your video card/graphics adapter to see if
there is an updated driver available.
