How do I place text over a short movie.

I have a short 15 second video clip (.mpg file) that I would like to place
text over while it runs. Is this possible in Power Point 2003?

No not in PowerPoint. You'll need to first do the "text over" in a video
editing program then insert the movie into PowerPoint.

As Sandy says edit the text into the video.Some activ X objects appear in
front of video in ppt and Austin Myers has a page on this
