How do I redownload Microsoft Word 2000?

My computer had frozen so I Restarted it and for some reason I lost
everything on my computer. I had backup files but for some reason everytime I
click on Microsoft Word it tells me The Windows Installer failed to install
the program associated with this file. I don't know what to do.
