How do I remove the password on my own MS Publisher files?

I am trying to convert one of MS Publisher publications to PDF with a PDF
converter but the message says that the publication is password protected so
it will not convert to a PDF. Where and how do I remove the password on the
MS Publisher publication, please?

Very interesting, since Publisher doesn't offer password protection of any
type... at least 2003 doesn't. I don't know if previous versions did or not.

Are you sure it is a Publisher (.pub) file? Does it prompt you for a
password when you open the file in Publisher? [Although I don't see how it
could.] If no 3rd party utility has been used to secure the file there must
be a problem with the PDF converter being able to read it. Perhaps it is
interpreting that difficulty as password protection. Can that converter
handle other Publisher files?... You might check with the developer of the
program you're using.

I am using MS Publisher 2002 and I have never had that message before and I
don't use Passwords to protect my files. I am using PrimoPDF and I have only
used it a few times, but with Word docs and it worked very well converting
them to PDF. I'm not sure what to try now to get the MS Publisher .pub
converted to PDF.
