How do I save grouped graphics and text as gif in Publisher?

I have tried saving graphics created from shapes and text boxes as gif files
in Publisher. Sometimes this works and sometimes it doesn't. I group the
graphics and text box but when I look at the saved file it has only saved a
part, either the text box or the graphics. Why and what is the failsafe way
of doing this?

You could save the entire publication as a .gif. Edit, save as, files of type.

Are you using Publisher 2007? After you group all the objects, put the cursor on
a graphic, then save as a picture. Don't know why it works this way, but it
does. I suspect it is a bug.
