How do I save my Macros in normal.dot

I created Macros and saved in normal.dot when prompted. But cannot access
them without going back into original document or re-customizing.

Changed security settings for Macros. Tried many things, but have been
unable to access except as stated above.

What version of Word are you using? What patches are installed? What
do you mean by 'can not access them"? Are you using
Tools/Macro/Macros? Tools/Macro/Visual Basic Editor?

If you saved them in a document, rather than Normal.dot, you can copy
them from the document to Normal.dot by using the Organizer found
under Tools/Templates and Add-ins.
