How do I turn insert off for form fields?

Delta

I have set up a form in Word but when I use it the info entered in the form
field causing the other fields to move....like it is set to "insert" mode.

I have set the maximum length in the Text Form Field Options but it still
allows the user to enter additional text while moving down the additional
formatting. I have also tried Protecting the document and that doesn't work.

Help! Thanks, Delta

What you need to do to control the layout is to use a table and put
the form fields in the cells. Then you can remove the borders for the
table so it doesn't appear to be a table.

You can check out the free Forms lesson I have on my site that shows
various ways to layout forms, as well as tips for setting up these
table layouts in forms.

You'll find it here. View the free lesson one for Word AutoForms &
Beginning VBA (VBA Online).
