You may want to do this with a slide that contains only a chart and add
anything else later. Select the chart and move it to a corner of the
slide and ungroup it. It will take two ungroupings to get to the bars.
Select the bars using shift+click as you go from one bar to another.
Group those bars and drag them away from the other part of the chart.
Use ctrl+A to select everything on the slide and deselect the grouped
bars by shift+click. Regroup all of the other parts of the chart.
Select the group of bars and ungroup them. One by one set an animation
of wipe from botton to them. Select the bars, but do not group them and
drag them back to the body of the chart to their original position.
Select every thing on the slide and drag it back to where you want it
to reside on the slide. If this works for you we can work on the
trendlines also. Let us know.
