How does google desktop work with Outlook?

I installed Google Desktop to integrate with my Outlook. I can use the Google
Desktop Search field on the Outlook screen to type in a search field, and the
Google Desktop results will appear in a list. However, when I click on an
item to bring it to view, I receive the message error "Google Desktop was
unable to open the item. It may have been moved or deleted in Outlook". Yet,
if I search in the Google Desktop Search field on my desktop tool bar, the
results will appear. Does anyone have a clue why this phenomenon occurs?!
