How to add filters/converters to Office/Excel 2003?

Hi,

I'm trying to export charts from Excel 2003 as GIF files, but it
doesn't work -- I get a GIF converter not installed message. How
can I install it now? I have my original Office 2003 CD. Do I need
to save files before hand etc.

I re-installed Office 2003 from CD and did a full install, but I still
get the same problem. I thought I'd follow your instructions, but I
can't find the directory you are referring to. When I explore my CD I
see the following, plus a zillion CABs.

WINDOWS

Where do I find the 'Office Tools tree'? The only filters I see are

Father Guido,

To save charts as .gif files do this:

1) Click once on the chart
2) Copy it (CNTRL+C)
3) start, All Programs, Accessories, Paint
4) Paste it (CNTRL+V)
5) File, Save As
6) Select Gif file from drop down list
7) you get a warning of degradation - just ignore it!
