This question is regarding MS Project 2003, beta version 11 .
I want that Resource Initials should be get added automaticaly to the Gantt
Chart as soon as I select the Resource Names. By default it adds Resource
Names. To add Resource Initials, I have to manually double click on the bar
(which shows the days for a particular task) a window "format bar" opens,
then in that window a tab called "Bar Text" is selected, then from the drop
down list I have to select Resource Initials. I want the Resource Initials
should be added automatically as soon as I select Resource Names.

Go to "Format, Bar Styles" and select the styles you want to change and
put in Resource Initials.

Hope this helps in your world.

Hi Media player,

You are very close to what you need. Instead of using the Format Bar
command, go to the menu and select the Format > Bar Styles command.
Select Task in the Name column. The use the Text tab at the bottom of
the dialog to set the Resource Initials.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Julie
