How to copy MS Outlook Address book and folders

B

Bill Weldon

I use MS Outlook on my desktop computer. My OS is Windows XP (SP1).
My question is: How can I copy my outlook folders and address book from my desktop to my laptop which also uses Windows XP (SP1). Both computers have rewriteable CD ROM drives.

Thank You
Bill W.

Locate your pst-file and copy it to your laptop. The pst-file also holds the
Contacts if you stored them in the Contacts folder. If not you should also
copy your pab-file. When copied back from CD make sure that you change the
file properties so that they are not set as "Read Only".
