How to create a weekly job sheet in project 2000

Cuchillo

Hi there,

Using Project 2000 for the 1st time. Have created the project and baselined
it. I now want to be able to hand out "job sheets" to the individual
resources so that they know what they are expected to be doing on a weekly
basis.

How can I do this?

TIA

Hi Cuchillo ,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

There are several ways to create job sheets. You can filter the Gantt Chat
view or the Calendar view for the resource in question, tailor the
Non-working Time to the resource's personal calendar, zoom to the week and
print. You could View/Reports and select the To Do report and use that.

You might like to have a look at my series on Microsoft Project in the
TechTrax ezine, particularly #8 & 24 on Reports, at this site:

(Perhaps you'd care to rate the articles before leaving the site, :)
Thanks.)

FAQs, companion products and other useful Project information can be seen at

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)

To get your started, for ideas, take a look at the "Who Does What"
report. "Edit" the reports to control what gets produced. Specify the
Filter create individual (by resource name, by time period, or whatever
you want) ... There also is "Who Does What When" and "To-do List".

Or you can create a view that filters for the resource and the date range.
This has the advantage of you controlling what is diplated (via filtering),
and which columns. The disadvantage is that if you have a large # of
resources, it may be time consuming as you will have to filter and print for
each resource.
