I'm trying to create sentences in PPT with key words left out and then insert
the words after discussions. EX. Children ______ what they ______. to then
read Children learn what they live. Any suggestions?

Create your text leaving the blanks.

In a new text box type in the missing word (same font etc). Position the
missing word in the blank and then apply any entrance on click animation.

Yes. Although it will take a little practice to line the two or more text
boxes up correctly. Now, how do you create more than two text boxes on a
single slide?

For PowerPoint 2002/Xp and above,
Click Insert > Textbox > Horizontal. Then, hover over the slide, hold down
left click and drag to create the textbox.

For PowerPoint 2000 and below,
Click Insert > Textbox. Then, hover over the slide, hold down left click and
drag to create the textbox.

Does that help?
