How to create HTML-based message

How does a person go about creating an HTML-based E-
message in Outlook? I would like to use attractive
backgrounds, graphics, tables, etc. I know how to use
FrontPage. So, how do I get this magic into Outlook
messages?

If you create a htm-file with FrontPage already it's easy;
Choose Insert-> File...-> browse to your htm-file-> press the little
down-arrow on the Insert button-> choose Insert as Text

Make sure you test the message first to make sure all format is supported by
Outlook

OK, that works, but what about the graphics? They did not
come over. All that shows up is the red X where the
graphic is supposed to be.

That's correct as the HTML code only holds pointers to the pictures and
doesn't contain the pictures itself. The best way to go here is to place the
pictures on a webserver and link edit the HTML code to point to there. This
will decrease the message size as well.

Otherwise; embed them manually by using Insert-> Picture...
