How to open previous version of Publisher file when I only have 20

Keep getting, "Publisher cannot open files from a different version". I
thooght there was some sort of converter or patch to do this.

Different version does not mean previous. Usually it means newer. There is no
patch or converter for this. You can ask the originator to save it as your
version or send it as a .pdf.
