How to open *.pst file other than default

I am running Outlook 2002 with windows XP. I copied the
pst file to another folder but can't open it. It shows
in the data management list but I see no way to open it.

Once you get the file listed in the data management window (or opened it via
a file | open | outlook data file) it should show in your folder list. If
the folder list isn't visible, select View | Folder list.

I do not believe you can 'open' a .pst file. You import it into Outlook
from the File menu.

Wrong. You open a PST with File>Open>Outlook Data File (or Personal Folders
File). One should never import a PST if it's avoidable. You can lose
information that way.
