How to schedule resource morning and afternoon task time?

I would like to know how to schedule a resource for one task to the morning
and another task to the afternoon. If the morning tasks takes longer then it
should skip to the next day, not schedule for the afternoon.

Here is the situation.
I have two projects to work on. One for my customer and one internal to the
company. I would like to split my resource time into two daily groups,
morning and afternoon. I would like all customer project tasks to be
scheduled in the morning and all internal project tasks for the afternoon.

How can I do this?

Hi Martin,

You could create two calendars (Tools > Change Working time, New): a
Customer calendar and an Internal calendar. Modify the working time in
the Customer calendar to only the morning and modify the Internal
calendar to only afternoon hours.

You may then assign the Customer calendar to the customer tasks as a
task calendar and the Internal calendar to the internal tasks. Select
all of the customer calendar tasks, click the Task Information button on
the Standard toolbar to show the Multiple Task Information dialog box.
Click the Advanced tab and select the customer calendar. Repeat for the
internal tasks.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
