How to stop duplicate emails

I am a new user to Outlook 2002. I receive 2 copies of
every email I get. How do I stop this? I have searched
the forums and cant find a solution nor can I find
anything in the program Help. If it is a setting somewhere
that controls this I cant find it. I am using using rules
for certain messages. Thanks.

Ken

Add "Stop Processing More Rules" at the end of each rule that way when it
finds a fit for one, it stops. It took me a long time to figure that out.
