How would I convert a doc file to a gif file?

Hi all,
I need to convert a doc file to a gif file w/o buying additional software.
Is there any in built way in office to do this?

Thanks.
Sabir.

Hi Sabir,

There isn't a built in feature for saving as a GIF.
Office 2003 offers the choice to print to the optional
install MS Office Document Image Writer that will print
to a TIF (monochrome) or MS proprietary graphic format,
MDI.

You can use screen captures and save those to
graphics files from apps such as http://www.irfanview.com
or thre are printer drivers available that 'print to graphic'
format from any app.

Hi Sabir,
I'm no professional by any means, but if you simply right click on the file
and click rename, then go into the highlighted portion of the file name and
click and drag over 'doc' and insert 'doc' and then hit return, you should
have the conversion completed. Anyone out there, please correct me if I'm
wrong, but I think this will work for you Sabir. Best of Luck to you!
