Hyperlink nodification

I'm using Windows XP and Wrd 2003. I have several large word documents which
are interconnected with hyperlinks. There are hundreds of hypelinks.

I need to relocate the files. That renders all hyperlinks inoperable.
Unless they are modified. How can I modify them?

I'm not as advanced as you are. I've never worked with macros in Word. I
can learn, but need very specific directions.

Your macro uses a lot of programming language that I am not familiar with.
My file is currently in
E:\personal\bible\commentary\new\notes.doc
The major hyperlinks connect the notes.doc file to
E:\personal\bible\commentary\new\appendix a.doc

Please show me how to reconfigure the macro to modify the hyperlines to
F:\personal\bible\

There is no need to modify the macro, just run it when the document
containing the hyperlinks is the active document. You will then be prompted
to enter the new location of the document containing the linked information.
