hyperlinks between shapes

I have hyperlinks between a shape on page 1 and a shape on page 2 of a VISIO
2003 file.
It works from within VISIO.
Does not work when visio file is saved as an svg file and then viewed via
Internet Explorer [mine uses ADOBE ACROBAT READER 5.0 as the svg viewer].
How to fix?
Is this a VISIO problem or ..
an ADOBE problem?

Hi,

The page linking is not supported when saving a Visio 2003 drawing to SVG,
since only the current page is saved. However if you use the Visio Save as
Web feature (File > Save as Web Page...), the page linking is supported.

Saved the file as "web page" [htm extension] but IE [6.0.2800.1106] "cannot
open the internet site file" etc. when I attempt to use the hyperlink.
Link was made as "relative".
Link does works in Visio.
What now?

Check out the linked KB Article, "The page cannot be displayed" error
message when you click a hyperlink to open a Visio 2003 file. >>
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/885877 Does this address the issue that
you're seeing?
