I am unable to send photos as an attachment.

Open an email, click on the paperclip icon or Insert > File and browse to the
file you wish to attach. Alternatively, you could right-click on a picture
file and send via email.

How are you doing it and what happens when you try?

Beware of large attachments, they may not send or be received depending on
limits set by ISP's or businesses.

E-mail is not the best medium to distribute large amounts of data. Use a
file or photo sharing site for this.
