I hav used my Publisher 2000 on my other computers that have windows 98. Now
that I installed windows XP I can't install my Publisher on the computer. I
also accidentely threw away the case that had the product id number. What
shall I do?

You're not in a good situation. Microsoft no longer supports Office 2000
programs. I would suggest getting Pub 2003 and then make sure you put the
product key in a safe place. You'll be happier with the file sizes and with
the newer features anyway. :)

I would suspect that "10 easy ways to lose a product key"
will not be the subject of a future motivational speech )

What does a 'Success Trainer' teach people?.. how to be being diligent,
prudent, careful?.. I would think so.. that and other things..

If it is an OEM version, the party is over.. if it is a full retail or
upgrade, try here..

Or...how to write with an indelible marker on the CD?
My dog ate the case...oh no problem I still have the CD with key on it..
My kid uses CD cases for skeet practice...oh no problem I still have the CD with the key on it.

Or... I also keep a password database with all my product license keys
in it.
