Know matter what I do, I can't get "continued on page" or "continued from
page" to show up in my text box. What am I doing wrong. This is such a
simple thing, why isn't it working? So FRUSTRATED!!!!!

In Publisher 2003 (you didn't say) right click in the text box, and choose
Format Text Box. Click on the Text Box tab and place checks in the
appropriate boxes.

jnap...
I am brand new to Publisher(2003)so please forgive me if info is wrong...I
had same problem UNTIL I actually had text flowing from one page to the
other. The "continued...." worked fine.

Won't work if text is flowing on linked boxes ending on same page...at least
for me.

Hope that helps

If you are using linked text boxes, so the text automatically flows from one
to the other as you add/delete text or change formatting, then you can turn
on the "Continued on/from..." features in Text Box Properties, either by
right-clicking on each text box, or by using the Format Menu to Text Box
Properties. You will have to turn it on for all text boxes.

If you are planning your publications, and know that you will use many
identical text boxes, consider creating one and turning on these features,
then Copy and Paste as many as you need, and as you fill them with linked
text, the features will appear.
