I can't get my jpegs to appear as image thumbnails just icons

with Office 2000, I was able to view thumbnails as jpeg images. Now I just
see them as Adobe icons without the image. When I want to insert graphics
into my files, I can't see the images to insert, just the adobe logo. Thanks

Are the images from the web?
Empty your cache, in IE, tools, Internet Options, delete files.
