i can't merge from excel

i'm trying to mail merge a file form excel. the only merge fileds that show
are "ybl " or "no name. most time iasks me to pick a sheet, but there is
only one sheet. it will not accept the title.
what am i doing wrong?

Are your titles column headers or row leads? Be sure they are column
headers.

Can you send me your Excel file so I can take a peek? (e-mail address removed)
